Given the empty German gas storage facilities, many people are worried and wondering if they'll have to freeze this winter. "I would definitely not expect such a scenario", says Prof. Perić. He explains that the issue of energy supply does not depend solely on the fill levels of gas stoage facilities in Germany, but also on the legal framework and the redundancy of the gas sources.
